SKI WITH PEACE OF MIND

What we recommend

Skiing is a sport which comes with risks and it's important to follow rules of safety and good practice so that everyone's stay takes place in the best way possible. Please respect and follow esf rules so that things can take place safely and seamlessly for everyone.

  • Take out insurance because emergency services will cost if there is an emergency,
  • Check the weather forecast and ski slope info (opening and closing hours, etc.),
  • Make sure you have a map of the slopes,
  • Stay hydrated and eat appropriately for being up in the mountains in the sun and the cold,
  • Wear sunscreen to protect you from UV rays,
  • Make sure you bring appropriate, well maintained and looked after equipment for your protection (helmet, gloves, ski goggles, mask, etc.),
  • Make sure you are well informed on the rules and info for using ski lifts,
  • Off-piste: don't go off piste without being informed (routes, risks, etc.) or accompanied by a mountain professional as this can very rapidly become dangerous,
  • Pace yourself and ski at your level.
